Azalea lacebugs are active at this time.

birch leafminer Mines resulting from the feeding of Birch leafminer larvae were at least 1/2" wide on European birch in Sewickley this past week.

native holly leafminer The adult stage of the Native Holly Leafniner have emerged and there was evidence of feeding puncture wounds on Ilex opaca, American holly, in Sewickley. Control measures should be applied when this feeding injury is seen. Egg laying will follow soon after.
