Soil Test Kits are the best way to ensure your soil has the correct nutrient levels. Comprehensive instructions are provided in every kit along with a small sack for enclosing your soil sample. Once your sample is taken, simply mail it to the address provided. The Analytical Laboratory at Penn State University analyzes your soil and mails you a detailed report and recommendations for soil amendment in about 10 days. If you have difficulty in understanding the test results, simply contact your local Penn State Cooperative Extension Office.
